Suzanne Morse-Smith has been a leader in innovative design for more than 15 years. Most recently as founder and creative director of L'erba. Launched in 2003 L'erba quickly expanded luxury linen boutiques nationwide including ABC Home in New York.
As customer following grew, L'erba received the opportunity to offer the brand in select Bloomingdales doors and at Neiman Marcus. L'erba (the grass), is the culmination of Suzanne's talent, inspiration, travel and love of nature. It captures the essence of the home that Suzanne is trying to portray, of bringing the outside in and creating a sanctuary within your home. L'erba has built a following from New York to L.A. with fans such as Sheryl Crow and Halle Berry. It was recently showcased as Blake Lively's bedroom ensemble in the hit TV series Gossip Girl.


With plans to grow L'erba into a multi-product home brand, Suzanne is planning for the launch of sleepware, bath, tabletop and baby. In 2009 the Sanctuary Collection by L'erba was launched. Sanctuary offers the L'erba aesthetic with a sleeker appeal inspired by some of the worlds most luxurious spas. Carried at Bed, Bath and Beyond and Macys and offered at moderate price points, Suzanne has truly captured the essence of elegant linens and designs, bringing luxury to everyday living.
Suzanne has always been at the forefront of new designs bringing famed brands into the home textiles arena. Most recently she has worked with Revman International on many famed designer brands launching them into home textiles. Prior to that she served as Design Director for Donna Karan Home. She began her career with the launch of Tommy Hilfiger Home.
In 2005 she received the Innovation in Design Award from the Home Products Association for her work on the Donna Karan label.
Suzanne lives with her husband and three children in Westport, CT.
